Something upscale, with a 300K+ house on it.

but the logo they supplied for a color magazine is, at 72dpi, 2.4 inches tall, and BLACK AND WHITE!!!

It never ceases to amaze me. Maybe it should alarm me. But I thought it funny in an annoying kind of way so I thought I would share.

I am so tempted to create this gorgeous ad, and put in the tiny little B&W logo... just for laughs.

Hell, do it! When I worked at the local newspaper back home, advertisers were constantly providing us with crap art. So, we proofed the ad to them using their art, and told them, "this is what you provided us." They usually gave us better stuff, or let us find our own.
Or didn't and were totally pissed when their ad looked crappy in the paper. ;)

Greyghost - again, I feel your pain! I know exactly what you are talking about! LOL! Ad design does have some perks somewhere....doesn't it?? If so, when you find it, PLEASE share it with me...LOL!!

Yeah, that's my philosophy..."Give crap, get crap."

lol.
It just never ceases to amaze me!
So, okay, I made the ad. It would look so much better if they lost some text (again, I'm sure people know what I am talking about - all this stuff people want in an ad!

Upscale = very little text. In fact, just your name and phone number. Maybe a header. And a really nice image. Voila, an upscale ad!

I'd like to be an upscale ad!

Then maybe I'll shut my mouth and stop saying so many stupid things.

Good one, Kink.
If I could be an ad... I'd be neat, organized, and to the point.
