Okay so I did a little playing with the flame in my logo, and played with taking the box out. Let me know what you guys think. Oh and the lower left logo was the previous one for comparision.

i dig the lower left. i tend to not make logos overly tall or wide, for purposes of versatility, and i really like the rounded box with the reversed flame.
tight logo.

I like both of the left designs. I like the top left because of it's bold look but I also like the bottom left for it's more modern style. Good work.

I am leaning towards the upper left one.

i like lower left the best. there is something pleasing about the line and the "squatness" of the shape.

I think i'm going to go with the sans box one. Here is a little revision to the leftside of the flame to get it as perfect as possible. It looks a little more whippy.

thanks man im still working but it's pretty damn close.
I like the last one you posted!!
If you're looking for something that'll fit easier in places, try to place the text from top to bottom on the left side of the flame... just a thought!

I like that last one too. Good balance...easily printed...recognizable. I say go with it.

I'm still playing with the type, I really like it thus far, but I'm seeing if I can push it a bit further.

Just an added note, in my first thread I posted on this forum, somone recommended the book, "Typography Workbook" by Timothy Samara. Well I bought it and I'm learning a LOT of really important stuff with type that I never even though about before... just a good tip you might like to follow as well. Great work..

Yep I'm the one who wrote you should get that book, I own it as well. And I have read it probably 6 times. I love it, a wonderfully put together book.
