what's the best size of the 'page' (or whatever it's called) so as not to have images pixellated or distorted when flash presentation projected....i started out using the default size 550px x 400px but that just looks like a big mistake....kind of seems too small, someone told me to make it 800px x 640px....is that ok?? if not what size should i make it??

thanks in advance

where are you going to be 'projecting' it? basically, what i'm asking is what are the dimensions of the field on which you'll be projecting it?

1024x768 is what i can see at right now, but most home-users can't - so 800 x 600 (or there abouts) is best, and just centre the site (is this for a full website?) using html. flash images, being vector, won't pixelate - but raster images in flash will. and there are better ways to deal with raster images in a flash site in order to keep file size/loading times down.

if you'll be printing it to tape (an animation for broadcast, for example) then you'll have to remember that ntsc is 30fps, and standard resolution is 640 x 480.

am i right, people?

a little more info about the 'page' and maybe i can help more - but i hope that's okay for now.

good luck, sister.

sorry guys that was really stupid of me not to say that this presentation is for a trade show so basically it will be projected on a wall. do i have to ask what size the wall is? or can i stick with the 800x640?

and as for the images what format should i import them in....at the moment i'm importing them in as png, they seem fine for the moment.

this is my first flash project and i'm feeling damn insecure about it all!
