Hi
I want to know some information about "save for web" in adobe photo shop.
is this process availabe in corel draw or corel foto paint.
I want to create some graphics *.gif, with *.eps in Corel draw, if I save pics in Corel , they do have white back ground. which I dont need . It should work like "save for web" function in adobe photo shop, But I want to use Corel.
best regards

Nadeem,

Corel GIF export (both in Draw and Paint, they share the same module) has nearly all the controls that Photoshop 'Save for Web' has, and even a few more it doesn't (such as the ability to import/export indexed palettes). GIF transparency support is there too, only it's tricky to set the matte colour.

What version of Corel are you using?

Hi
I am using corel draw graphics suit 12.
The problem is "transparent back ground". In corel , there is a white back ground which I dont need. In adobe it is completely transparent back ground.
But I am more familiar with corel , so If there is a way to do this in corel ?.
thanks for responding

select File, Export and choose gif or png for the "Save as type".
click on the Options button to expand the options if it is not already.
clear the "Do not show filter dialog" checkbox
click the Export button
on the next window, change the radio button for Transparency from "None" to "Image Color" and use the eyedropper to choose the color to be transparent.
click the Preview button to make sure you got what you expected.
Click OK
