Hey,
I've recently come on board to a new company, and I'm working on temporary computer before my real hardware arrives. I'm currently working on a Ghetto XP box, and I've been given Quark 5.0 to work on before InDesign arrives with the new Mac. (It's all they had.)
However, I've been trying to go in and edit the master pages on some old files (created on a different comp) and it won't display them. I tried creating new files to try and creat new masters, but no go. I can't edit the masters. I can create or delete them through the Document Layout Palette.
To sum up: I can create and delete master pages. I cannot edit or view master pages. I have tried Page -> Display - "Master Page" , I've tried the GUI menu on the bottom, and I've tried the Document Layout Palette. I cannot see them.
Is something corrupt? should I reinstall? Is a file missing? Does anyone know what to do? I need help, ASAP!
