I am just having the worst day, and need to vent. First, I forgot I don't have an umbrella in my car, and it's a rainy day. Then I dropped my yogurt in the lobby of the office, and had to rush to clean it up so no one I work with sees it.

I have been working on this project to make tags to go on a backpack. They were done here last year, when I wasn't here, so I don't know how they were produced.

They are laminated, with corners cut so they're rounded, and a hole punched. They're due tomorrow, and I was sent the assignment Wednesday. Now, Wednesday, our printer is streaking on solid colors, and our service technician didn't get here until Thurs. afternoon. I print them, and my supervisor says to print them on the thickest cardstock we have. I do, and I try using the dinky arts and crafts corner cutter they have, and it won't cut through the thick laminate we have.

So now I can either do them unlaminated and they'll have round corners, or send them out to be cut and laminated, like they should have been, but they won't be done until Monday. And the client isn't in the office today. Ugh....

typically it's done with a diecut machine.

Yeah, I know, defjoe. And you'd think the place I'm at would just send it out to be done with a die-cut. That's what's so frustrating. I'm expected to know how something was done last year, and I'm bitter because I should have cleared that up Wednesday. It can't be done in-house.

Ugh..

It was decided it wasn't as urgent as they indicated, and it will be sent out. Thankfully, it's now out of my hands.
