Ladies and Gentlemen!

Thanks for checking this out... couple things;

1. I DO NOT DO WEBDESIGN! So, yes it is simple, obviously this is just the start and everything needs to still be added!

2. It is for a lot of the wedding invitation/work I do, so it is aimed accordingly (Hopefully)

3. I DO NOT DO WEBDESIGN!

With that said, Im really looking at changing the look of the site, Im wanting it to be more friendly to people who are looking for wedding invites (Mostly women, so I wanted to soften if up a bit). I also wanted to give it a kinda old/retro/40s/50s feel like a lot of my work represents. That is why Im not worried about flash, etc. Ill add a bit of CSS and a couple scripts, but nothing too flashy, just simple and quick loading.

My first thought is that I think the stamp/dirty look behing the "Down On Paper" section looks a little too dirty and makes it look very jagged/low res, will work on that.

Let me know what you think, thanks!

its going to be hard to figure out a place to keep the navigation centeralized....that page looks great but if you put content in it the navigation will get pushed down below the fold which is bad.... however you could have that first page look like that then the interior pages be a bit more of a standard layout

here is a flashy site that has a retro look....

What browser/OS are you using?

BIG PERM - Im not going to need TOO much space for the next pages within, Ill have my example work pop-up on the same type of window I have now, that fit the work tightly, have no menu bars etc.

So Ill just push the same buttons down a bit, and hopefully keep it all on one page without having to scroll down (Well at 1024x768 anyways)

But yes, I understand that is a concern, and it might now work out as well as I think, we'll see!

Would still like to get a couple more thoughts on this new rebuild, Im starting to like it more and more, the buttons are now functional to other pages, it getting there... would like thoughts on load times, ease of use etc. Thanks!

the aqua colored box is a bad choice of color and it jumps around oddly
