24-7 is an excellent studio, they've done some excellent sites. Their setup is interesting too, it's a network of freelancers that collaborate on projects. Seems to be working!!
Another site to watch is www.wrecked.nu (http://www.wrecked.nu)...the kid just graduated high school and is designing at a very high level!

The fly on the 24-7 site is excellent.

When I say matt I'm thinking of the Lana site, it has a kind of subtle, dulled, feel to it, papery. I guess that's the retro thing.

Nice site. The fly is fun. The design is self is a bit dated and is pretty trendy now. Still a great site, I'd love to see what new concepts they could deliver if they re-did the site.
