i finished a shirt design for some band here at my school and im not really expecting to get paid for it... (you guys know how high school is!!!) so i thought about something like a trade of service kind of thing, im going give them my design for free BUT i'll get to put my own logo or whatsoever somewhere on that shirt to advertise myself. so uhh do i need a contract for it just to be safe? if so where can i find one? what else should i do? what else should i put? i dont have a website.... is it ok if just put my emal add. there? i need help :o

There should have been a contract or project agreement in place, stating what you were to get as compensation, BEFORE you even started the job. It's much more difficult to arrange after you have completed the project. Now you can hope they will follow through and include your logo/email address on the shirt in good faith - but they are under no contractual obligation to do so.

You will find some contract resources at Creative Latitude (http://www.creativelatitude.com), Creative Business (http://www.creativebusiness.com), and Creative Public (http://www.creativepublic.com).
