Hello,
Have created an ad in Illustrator, and just found out I need to submit to a newspaper as a HIGH RES PDF file. Can someone please tell me how to do this?

Have done regular PDF's a million times, but never high res. Also, they are saying they need it done in Acrobat 4.0. (I am working w/5.0)

Any help with this is greatly appreciated!
Thanks --

When you go to export to PDF it should give you the options...set it to optomize for print, not screen, then you can get the higher res. Need it in Acrobat 4?! Wierd. Didn't think it would matter. Well, when you export from Illustrator does it give you the option to downsave? I can't look here and work right now and I can't remember?!

You can also just save it as a pdf file in illustrator (10 not sure about eairler versions).

file>Save as> then just choose PDF, Don't compress anything and set images to be at 300 dpi.

Thanks so much - seems simple - for some reason I was thinking it was more complex! Thanks again, it is much appreciated...
