Illustrator prob again....

How come that on one of my computers i have a preview checkbox in the drop shadow effects dialog window and on another computer I don't have the preview checkbox?

Does Illustrator disable the preview if the system resources are too low?

Both computers run the same OS and same Illustrator CS.

Any ideas! Thanks in advance!

its probably a preference, thats my only suggestion, sorry don't really know the answer.
