Periodically we prune topics older than a certain date, gnerally it is 45 days and only posts/topics with no replies.
I try not to prune topics with a thread. Could be a quirk though and I will let the guy that wrote this know. THere is supposed to be a new/upgrade version that will fix some things, I will check to see if this is an issue.

Hey Allen-
I noticed in at least one thread that some of the replies had been removed (it was a thread about Print Window). Thread kinda doesn't make sense now.

I don't know how some pruning could make 200 of my posts go.

I don't know about random posts going poof. I don't think pruning would do that either. I have deleted a couple of posts but it was warranted and only two or three and that has been a while. Not sure why the went away.
Maybe the next version will fix it.

Can you put them back? And while you're at it put the extra smilies in a popup?

i don't think it is possible to put stuff back. I don't personally keep score with posts, just look at my lowly number... /emoticons/wink.gif

I was talking about putting a bunch of them in a popup so that the post reply page won't be so long.

Oh,
I don't know about that only because I haven't had to time to look at customizing hthe forum software. .net (aspx) is a bit different that classic asp in regards to who it has to work and I am still just a cut and hack programmer with it <g>

I would think there is just a single include/template file that holds the smilies, or maybe the whole post page.
