College World Series

Okay, where are all the baseball fans? The College World Series is in Omaha this week. I love this atmosphere and all the fun.

Of course I am thrilled Nebraska is in it this year (sorry you guys in Miami), but we go even when Nebraska isn't playing. What a great tournament.

I haven't had much of a chance to keep up with it, but I guess more than anything off the top of my head, I will be pulling for Tennessee. I am actually a Hurricanes fan as I grew up down there, but since they are not in it, and Georgia Tech isn't in it (there is a player for GT that the St. Louis Cardinals drafted), and I live in Tennesse and follow them some anyway, I guess that will be who I am for. I have always wanted to go to Omaha this time of year. The company I work for has a store in Omaha, and I keep trying to get them to send me there at this time of year, but they never do.

I watched the Hurricanes in Lincoln (as Nebraska had to get past them to go on to Omaha.) Sorry. They are an awesome team though and have a lot of class. I was surprised we got them in the Super Regional.

Tennessee looks great too though.

The weather is superior here, 80's, sunny, not too much humidity. It's as if the baseball gods said "Let there be Baseball!" and perfect weather came to pass.

I think this will be a lot of fun.
