Hi, I could really use some constructive feed back on www.art4charity.org.uk (http://www.art4charity.org.uk/). What you think works and what just doesn’t sit right.
Thanks
just a quick comment (sorry). 1. good on ya 2. there is alot of information on the front page, you dont need info about everything on that page, try suggesting to people about different areas of the site by having an intro, or even news item saying, e.g. Welcome...(blah)...you can view our whole gallery here <link>
or
Happy friday everyone iv'e just added new images to the gallery, check them out <link>
or
we a are charity...(blah)...please help us in our projects <link> by purchasing from our gallery <link>.
other than that, the search function is a top idea and the images you have are great. good luck with the projects! sorry i couldn't stick around and offer more!

well, for one, it doesn't fit onto an 800 x 600 res screen horizontally. horizontal scrolling is an absolute NO NO unless you're doing it extremely deliberately.
unfortunately for us designers, many "baby boomers" are now online and cannot have their screens (most people are still using 17" or less) at higher res than 800 x 600 because the text would be too small for them to read. remember, you're designing for the viewer's spex.
hope this helps,
