i'm trying to figure out how to sequence movie clips to automatically play consecutively .... with a specified timeframe in between. similar to what msn.com does on their home page with the highlighted features that change after a few seconds.
any help would be appreciated ...

How about adding the extra frame length at the end of each MC? Other than that, it'd certainly help to know how you're creating/updating the sequences (if at all). Are you using xml? using simple MC loops?
Regarding MSN homepage ... I don't see any changing features on their page (unless you mean the random ad banner? in which case, they're actually using javascript to do that). Could you point me to another example perhaps, that illustrates the effect you're after!?

yeah, it seems msn alternates their highlights ... weds. they had exactly what i was looking for.
it seems that http://www.mlb.com has something similar to what i'm looking for.
basically, i need to have at least 3 or 4 movie clips that play one after the other automatically, but with a pause in between to allow the viewer time to read and select from the menu options offered in that particular clip.
