So my fiance is setting up this PDA application for a woman who runs a nutrition summer camp for pre-teens. He has the PDA's set up so that the kids enter in data. Then she can take the PDAs to her office and pull the data onto her computer to organize it. He tells her how to sync up the PDA to the computer and specifically says: "Make sure the PDA is in the craddle and hooked up to the computer." She emails him later saying it isn't working so he goes over to her office to look at it. He tells her to show him what she does when she tries to sync up. She puts the PDA in the craddle, waits til it's hooked up with the computer, then removes the PDA and presses the "sync" button on it.... arrggg....

I actually had to show a senior vice president at my former company how to insert a CD into his computer and further had to guide him to find a file that was on it. Frightening... this guy is making upper 6 figures in salary!

Speaking of PDA's, I had a client who insisted that her PDA didn't have a battery!
This is the same client that refers to her website as a "Web Sight" in emails.
clients.....

Web Sight - that's kind of funny and could be kind of clever for us visual engineers.
