After 4 long hours of pain-staking sitting around and watching my computer genius friend monkey with my computer box thing, IT'S Up and Running. I got a new 200GB hard drive with windows XP serivces pack 2 installed and running on it. Quicker than grease lightning waking up after a night of drinking and realizing who he went to bed with - exit stage left.

Yep. Monkey's are indeed beautiful things. They can be so cheeky and cunning, yet genius to boot. 4 hours though ... I assume that included thorough backing up? Otherwise, the monkey was playing with you ... literally. It was probably doing a psychological examination of you and your pain-staking observation, as it was bashing your box with a banana for 4 hours. Still ... as long as it fixed it all up, who can argue with a monkey's unorthodox methods.
