I'm using Distiller on Mac OS 9 and it's been working with no problems. Today I tried to export from Quark, it created the PS file and began Distiller. However, it stayed on 'Locating font options' for half an hour, with the PDF mouse cursor spinning around.
I restarted and now whenever I try to just run Distiller it stays on the 'Locating font options bar' and I have to force quit.
I've deleted the Distiller prefs and fonts run fine in everything including Suitcase.
The last time I created a PDF successfully was before I rebuilt the desktop the other day - I don't know if this is a factor.
Update - I've also deleted all adobe font list files and reinstalled Distiller, but nothing has changed. Everything else to do with fonts works fine on the machine. I've left Distiller to run overnight, but it is still stuck on 'Locating Font Options'
