Overview:
It's been a few years since I have done a web site and it was done in DreamWeaver. I have designed a whole new identity including print media. I want to incorporate that design within the web site. I am now limited to GoLive which seems to be ok, but I don't know how to totally utilize it to it's best potential.

File Size:
So I have designed a web site in Photoshop, and then brought it into ImageReady to do the rollovers and right the most of the html for me. I played around with the different formats and I came up with PNG-8, looked better then jpg and was also faster. But I think it is still too big. Why does it keep reloading whenever I go back to the home page? Shouldn't it have loaded those images in the cache so anything that isn't new should not be reloading correct? Is there something I have to set? or is it just something set up in my browser?

Fonts:
I am using Myriad Pro as my font and I want to keep it throughout, but it's not a font that is web safe. Am I better off switching my text all to a similar safe font like Tahoma? I know it would make the top buttons go faster, because I could have one red box for all of the them (services, products, etc).

ImageReady:
How do I just save as optimized just an individual slice? I have done it before, but I can't remember, how it did it some two years ago.

GoLive:
How do I center the image in GoLive? Is there a way I can encrypt my site so you can't click on the images and save them or copy text, or do I need more software for that?

Other:
Any questions or comments are welcome.

I would do a search on google and do a couple of the tutorials. Both in html and CSS. Most, if not all of your questions will be answered that way and it will really help you out at the same time to better your design.

As far as your font question, again, you should use CSS styles for all of your fonts, not html. Have Myriad Pro as your primary font.

If it has been a few years since you have designed a site, as you search and read, you will find that CSS is something you will want to learn. Very powerful and much better than pure html coding.
