What is the most effective way to bring AI vectors into flash? I personally believe that the programming has been sabotaged so that you have to use freehand. Still, does anyone know a way around the bugs?

You can export your Illustrator files out as .swf files which usually works fine for fairly "basic" Illustrator files.

Depends on your versions of each. You may have to save your AI file as an older version (like 7 I think) if you are using an older version of Flash (like 4 or 5).

Although the drawing tools in Flash are less than ideal, imported graphics will easily bloat the file sizes. If you can do the work natively in Flash, you will most likely get a faster loading animation. This is especially true when incorporating bitmaps into Flash files. Just an FYI.

I thought that I have been more successful at cut from ai and pasting in Flash working the best. but that's probably for simple things. Ungroup it and then it acts like flash elements
