The one here addresses the "graphic" design business and is definitely not just the moderators. The posts are great information for anyone in the graphic design biz.

blog = web log

it's a sort of a public journal. You can use them to educate people, keep your family and friends up to date with what you have been up to, talk about current events, cite your political viewpoints, or anything at all.

Lots of them are completely random, and lots of them aim to educate people or express opinions.

For anyone blogging, just remember... blogs are public domain. Don't say anything oon your blog that you don't want the world - including your boss or a potential client - to see!

I'm seeing more and more commercial Blogs and see this as another offering to clients who are looking to use their power to communicate to customers or employees in an easily updated format such as Blogs. The Marketing Blog I had on a
previous thread (http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8900) is a great example.
