My 19in CRT monitor just died. Im on the market for a high end professional flat CRT screen... perhaps 21in. But want to make sure im happy with my purchase. Has anyone got any reccomendations on screens they have had personal experience with?
I obviously am looking for something with crisp display, high resolution at least 1600 x 1200 (ideally 2048 x 1600ish) and most importantly accurate colour display and good geometry. Most of my work is Printed, so consistent colour correction for photos etc is very important for me.
I have had a bit of a look at some Viewsonics, Sony, Phillips and Samsung. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Im looking at spending around $1000 Australian or $750 US.
