Quark Help!

I was wondering if anyone could help me with Quark 6.5

I am having 2 different problems:

1) Sometimes my cursor is very large, in both new and
existing files. I do not know how to change this?

2) I was wondering how to create an index from an
existing document?

#1 sounds like you need to trash your preferences or do a clean install of Quark.

#2 is beyond my realm of experience with Quark. sorry.
