Well, in my continuing quest for great design skill, I give you all a digital sketch of my latest tasche logo concept. Would love to get some comments from you gurus of graphic goodness.http://graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/worshippy.gif

alot alot alot better!!!! just one thing and this is a personal one.... you know where you have the bottom of the handbag... well it aint parallel to the word tasche.... i would maybe make it that bit streighter.. it is slightly slanty!!! (if its meant to be that way.. please excuse me!! i am slightly neurotic that way!!)

one more suggestion.. the edges needs to be anti-aliased

Great improvement! My only concern is that the word 'handbags' is going to disappear (as it does in the thumbnail) depending on how small you're planning on using it...business cards, website, etc. Keep up the good work!

I'm going to go against the grain here and tell you the truth: you have to stop using a brush for your design ideas.
The reason I am telling you this is cause I saw the evolution of your first attempt and I'm convinced that if your pushed you can bang out a great design. So drop the brush effect and stop using the tool to make your design, use your talent and the tool will morph into a great accessory.

It all looks tilted. I don't know if the bag's bottom is slanted slightly and is making the text look slanted. Just looks slightly off to me.

I like it.
It has a unique quirkiness to it that make it different from other logos.
Very brand-ish.
It's flexible too, easy to print - stamp - silkscreen etc.

other than it being slightly crooked,
I think it's very appropriate for what you're trying to accomplish

I agree with Chriser. Small reveresed type seems to disappear easily. A good printer should be able to do it, but I'd check out the logo at its smallest size to be sure it doesn't disappear. </div>
Otherwise - I really like it. I think the design has definately inproved and the style is more cohesive. http://graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/specool.gif </div>

You guys are wierd. The design is fine. The nit-picking going on here on mout points...man, it reminds me of my boss, who went to school for forestry, then dropped out half way through. You sure you guys have diplomas in GD and aren't forestry drop outs?
