1 - I love the 'negative space' that all the black creates
4 - Just 'Wow!' This is one of those pictures that I enjoy because many people don't even think of taking photos like this.
3 - I really like the colors and the focal contrast. Not too keen on the composition of this one though.
2 - good photo, just doesn't match my particular tastes. I'm not keen on many aerial-ish photos.

thanks for the comments everyone!! evilryu209 - you think I have a knack at this kinda thing? I just thought it was the camera that made it look so good. As for what I used, hmm thats soo tough to tell you. on all of these I used 100ISO I can tell you that much. On pic #1,2,3 I used a UV, and Polarizer filter on my lense. The setting on #1,2,3 was just a default setting. On #4 I used the 'portrait' mode under scn selection and set it to nitetime. Hope that helps ya out, not to much goofin around in PS except for your basic level adjustments and contrast/brightness.

Very cool!
Love the spider one - would make a great Motivator or DeMotivator poster! : )
4 - I love the colors and that time of day - is that Hawaii or Arizona?
1 - Looks like a postcard
2 - Beautiful! (like D-Zine said :)
3 - Last only cuz I'm not crazy about spiders - but it is an awesome photo! :)
They're all good!
If it wasn't for the last minute nothing would ever get done.
(When I grow up I want to be just like Keyare! He does excellent work - even when he's trying to not to.)

Yeah, 4 definitely. Very unique opportunity there; looks more like a design than a photo.

2 - The color of the coast and the sky clashing into the dull land might lose it for you, but they are so sharp that they make up the image.
1 - The cliff and tress might be a little too intruding for the judges' likes, but I really like this one as well. Great colors in the sky.
4 - This image would be much better if you trimmed it to be more vertical (make the width a little less) to emphasize its vastness, but keep the moon and stars in the center, or keep them a little ways form the outside edge. The main point of this one is its openness and the brilliant colors, but you reveal a little too much of it; just trim it.
3 - Never really been a fan of insect pictures, so I honestly can't say much about this one. Seems cliche if you ask me.
You don't have to take my words into account, they are you photos. Good luck!

Master, thanks for the idea, some reason my last post didnt post in this thread...oh well. Anyways that is the west coast of the Big Island Hawaii, about 5 minutes before landing in Kona Airport....shot out of the window of a Boeing 757, the only photo out of the 10+ i took that doesnt have any kind of color distortion from the damn 2 paned windows.
