here is my company's new website I just launched today. My boss wanted to get it launched sooner than later so there are a lot of "coming soon" pages. But what do you guys think as far as design, layout, functionality, etc.? This site is designed for 99% business to business.

thanx ahead of time for the critiques and compliments ;o)

In Safari, the dropdown nav bars are very choppy. The overall design is kind of blah and uninspired.

The flash animations took a while to load and delayed the page opening. As well once they are loaded they don't do anything, so are they important?

Where the IOT logo is, looks out of place.

The repition of the swoosh logo around the orange buttons looks pixelated.

As well the text is part of the graphic, so won't be indexed well with search engines.

Design shouldn't be rushed. Hopefully your company can work with this site for now as some changes are made to make it better.

There shouldn't be any flash in this site, especially if its a business to business company. The logo is out of place. Get rid of those table borders, they are not professional looking. Large blocks of body copy shouldn't be italicized it makes it very hard to read. A lot of your images are pixelated. Overall it's kind of hard to get a grasp of what type of company it is. My advice would be is to look at some other companies websites that have a similar type of business. I think you're trying to hard with all the motion effects & drop down menu's. You have to simplify. Make it easy to navigate, make it simple, use the less is more approach. Until you have a grasp on making simple layouts & navigation then move on to the fancy stuff then you'll know when and when not to use it.

What is up with the internationalofficetechnologies
at the top? shouldn't you have your logo there? Your flash design could be better, and it isn't even goo quality playback. This is not the best i have seen. I mean if your going to use flash, add some goos interactivity to it. Thanks.
