logo design

Hey

I'm trying to come up with a logo for a DJ “DJ merciless” it will be used on CD covers, t-shirts things like that. I have 2 ideas........

What do you think?

hmm...imagine scaling those things down to an inch in width (general size range for a logo) what problems might you have?

I can also see a sneaky drop shadow on both of em :rolleyes:
Is the appearance of your logo something that was meticulously planned with respect to a strong and well developed concept or...is it something borne through pure abstract experimentation you just think looks pretty cool?

logo design is really almost a science unto itself.
