Overall I'd have to say those are pretty darn good for a student. You show a lot of promise. I'm surprised that there actually weren't any drop shadows or gradients.
House Hold Logo : the type is weak. I don't think "effects" should be so large and spaced out. The dresser illustration is very nice though.
Wind-up Toys: Not a bad start. I think it could be done without the outlines around the font. And maybe a better font. I would've went with an illustration of a toy of some sort and maybe incorporated it within the text.
Dave Stultz: Good font & decent kerning however it is a little hard to read because of the surrounding box on stultz is blending in with the "t"s.
Welcome to the forum!!

Ou yeah, the stuff got switched around. Sorry about that. Yeah on Household, that is not the correct Futura, due to the fact that i'm not currently working on my on laptop w/ my own font collection. I don't know why they bother with gradients in any type of paint/design program!

I really like the dave ... something about black n white...I think you are doing a great job!..I like it when the characters are used in the logo with little to no distortion for effect...that is the one that stuck out i my mind after viewing all of them...and if you really , really have a passion for graphic design...you will go far....I think you could work on the text layout on some of these...maybe in the beginning --all caps is the way to go...at least untill you have experienced more Fonts:) ...Welcome!
