Working with scanned pictures

Well I donot have any digital camera but When I scan images thru my hp scanner I found some very sharp lines how can i remove them , is there some option in fireworks or photo shop

Photoshop can do just about anything. Depending on what these sharp lines look like Photoshop has multible tools to select, remove or blur. It's hard to say which approach to take not seeing the image.
