I just picked myself up off the floor after taking a gander at apple.com this morning. They just released a mouse that still looks like a one-button, but you can program it to be touch sensative in up to four areas. It also has a built in scroll wheel that will scroll in all directions. It's extremely cool!

Sweet! I'd buy one if I had $50 to spare...

is it going to cost twice as much as a one button apple mouse?

$50, mynock. It's replacing Apple's one button. Technically, it's still a one button, until you make it a 2-4 button.

There's no mention of bluetooth, so I doubt it. It has a built in speaker that makes "click" and "scroll" sounds though. Isn't that good enough?

I noticed it still has a cord attached to it. It's not for me.

can you program it to self destruct when you ship it back to Apple?

you'd think that they'll be coming out with a wireless mouse in the not to distant future, I talked to a few of my friends from back when i used to work for apple and they say it's really cool, (probably because we finally have a mouse that doesn't require the command, option, and control buttons to do basic functions)
I want to play with one before I put my own opinion down
