OK guys, I've got a question for ya. I 've got a buddy who's doing a design for a site. The client is requesting watermarks for all of their images. Each image is a different size, so he would like to do a single filter or PS action and be able to apply it to any of his images. He would like it to be scalable if that's doable. BTW, he's using PS 7.

Any advice I can give him??? Any help???

Much appreciated guys! http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/specool.gif

Well its a very simple and basic question. Just make a new document, make your watermark/symbol/logo watever. Preferably a white one and a dark one, and apply it to each picture. There are a couple diffrent ways to do it, he could make an action, or another way would be to make a custom 'pattern' and apply it with the pattern brush (his scaleability would depend on brush size, which is fairly simple to change) If he goes the pattern route, its as simple as just making a new Overlay layer above each picture, then applying the 'layer style' (or pattern) to each picture, thats how I would do it to speed things up.

Thanks for the help D-Frag. I know he'll end up using text for his watermark... I'm not sure if he's planning on using the company name or the URL. I do know it's going to be text though.

You could also take any image or use text with your name and create a brush from it and use that brush on your work when your done.Thats what I do with mine sometimes.Just do your work, apply the brush once or twice with a color that stands out and your done.
