I submitted a logo last week and here it is again with some revisions. Most of these are rough concepts, some obviously abstract.

I think the second one is a winner. I like the S as a money sign.

The second one from the top is the strongest, however the typography is weak. I think it needs to be stronger. Bolder. It needs more weight than the sifter.
Not really sure if the flower sifter fits with loans either.
The remaining concepts are rather abstract and not sure what they mean. even knowing what Loan Sifter is, they are too abstract.

i like the second one bestest...what's a loan sifter??:confused: I think if you do use one of the 'abstact' things...you should definently pump up the points on the text...I could see most of these working with the right text. :)

Agreed, second one but change the typeface.
one through six I just do not get.
I'm sure there is some concept behind me but, its flown by.
I'm not to taken by any of the designs.
However, the first two are most sucessfull.
The type issue definatly needs to be addressed.. bolder.
