Hey everyone. I'm brand new here, but I like the forum and I'm liking the work everyone is submitting. It's cool that there are some actual graphic designers out there that really believe in concept, form and function. Most forums are strictly digital imaging and/or limited to web design. Anyway I thought I'd post a photo manipulation. Playing with different brushes and techniques. Tell me what you think...good to be here.

I am getting into the brushes lately, I would like to see more ...the back ground and the image have alot of texture , i think it would be better if one of them were smooth....er:)

So what is your concept? How has it been developed? What is it for? Who is it for? How will it be used?

Mynock - Sorry for the "t". It is a little tough to read, but its a sweet font if it's big enough.
mkdezine - Different styles I suppose. Your statment makes me picture you (without and idea, so don't take offence) as a very clean, non-grungy designer. Which is cool you know, takes all types. But I just wanted the focus to be on the city silouhette, thats all.
Mitch Wood - Concept...just playing around with brushes until I came up with something I liked. Not a very ambitious concept, but I experimented and had fun with the brushes. It's for me and me only, nothing that will be published or used by anyone else.
Anymore comments? Thank you all for replying, more are welcome.

Welcome to the forum!
I am not sure I would use such a heavy frame/border for the main artwork. It grabs attention first as it is the brightest object on the dark background. If you want your main art to be seen first, I would work on making it a bit less textured so the color can come through.
