Ok, so I've been critiquing people the last couple of days, so I figure it's about time I open myself up to a little criticism. Here's a logo I designed recently for a small fine art gallery. I was standing in line at Kinkos the day after I moved here and overheard this woman asking the salesperson if they designed signs or just printed them (the answer, of course, was "no"). So I went over to her as she was walking away and gave her my card and got the job when she called the next day. :) (small city though, so not much $ in it, $150 and lots of champagne at her opening)
Anyway, as I said, it's a small fine art gallery with a modern, French feel. The client wanted something really simple, b&w, mostly just the name of the gallery, and needed it in less than a week. So here it is; I'd love to hear what you think.
