Quark 6 Units

Okay, this issue is REALLY starting to frustrate me. I want to keep my units in Quark 6 in inches, at all times. It always returns to the default mm units. Is there anyway I can change it so it will stay on all the time?

Edit > Preferences > Measurements

change both height & width to inches...and don't forget to save it. :)

i think you have to change it before you open a doc
otherwise, it will just apply it to that doc
wait...i've never used 6, but it used to be that way. i think
