Hi everybody, my name is morea and I have a problem.
Ok, I don't really view it as a problem so much as an addiction. You see, I happened upon this place almost two years ago, and haven't left much since.
Although most everybody here already knows me, I figured I'd write a brief intro for anyone new to the forum, since we have this handy new "introduce yourself" section.
I am the GDF Librarian, the Giver of Tacos, Banner of Trolls, Slayer of Spammers, Thrower of PS Parties, Teller of Jokes, Seer of Cheese, Original Inventor of the Swooshburst, and Crusader Against Spec Work. I am easily distracted by things that are shiny.
I've met some great people on this board, talked to several over the phone, collaborated on projects with others, and learned from just about everybody.
One thing that I love about this place is that it's a positive, encouraging environment that's great both for learning and having fun.
I'm a graphic designer with experience in prepress and marketing. My hobbies include photography, mountain biking, camping, hiking, cat rescues (27 to date), and Quenya (the elven language from Lord of the Rings). I like to read science fiction and fantasy novels and to write bad poetry, which I will mercifully refrain from sharing with you.
That's enough about me. Welcome to GDF, and enjoy your stay.
