    Just saying hello.

Just wondering but what's everyone's specialty is? Like the program you love the most. I'm a 3D artist, though I do graphic work too, so it's Maya. I like Illustrator too.

      Welcome Aboard

I don't really have a speciality other than being able to name a font off the top of my head here and there

Two-Toe Tom: hello. graphic stuff is enjoyable as a profession. but i love the 3D stuff. i'm trying to build my reel now. wish i have a better computer so i can do that.

Red Kittie Kat: lol, that's a neat thing. i went to an interview once for a production artist job and the guy ask me if i can name fonts by just looking at them...i was like...er...i can name some of them...he wasn't too impress with that answer.

Hey there, Iam, welcome to GDF.

When you have a few moments, have a look over the threads posted here; they explain just about everything you need to know about the place.

If you're not familiar with vBulletin forums, there are some great tips on getting to know the forum posted here.

My specialty is posting a ridiculous number of times on internet forums, and being able to retrieve almost any thread when asked. Actually, my favorite program is probably Illustrator... it was the first one I learned to use, so it holds a special place in my heart.

                Welcome to the forum.

Illustrator's my favourite, too. It's just more fun than the rest of the creative suite.

I also wish I had Kittie's memory for fonts

Welcome aboard, iamallthatiam!! Glad to have ya here.

My specialties are Quark and Photoshop. I suck at coding, so virtually no web design for me.

lol, coding isn't really that hard...it's just tedious (like a lot of graphic stuff) and involves a lot of memorization...

I can't 'think' in code, it's far too removed from the final product for me to be able to relate it to what I want it to do. I've been trying to read up on Actionscript for Flash. I'm getting it, but I don't know how well I'll be able to apply it. We'll see.

Like the forum FAQ says, you have a very limited amount of time to edit your posts, 15 minutes to an hour, depending on when the servers cycle.
