    It is a wierd day.

Everything is orange outside and it feels like the sun is burning you even though it's not hot. It's kind of moist. The sky is hazy and smells like wet wood. Feels like armageddon. Again. This happened last year too as there were forest fires everywhere and there are again.

And bubbles. There are bubbles appearing in cracks in doors and on vehicles. Strange hard bubbles that don't pop. They don't evaporate. They just sit there.

How are they forming? What the heck is going on? There's no little kids around - even if little kids could figure out how to make hard bubbles. I'm confused.

Are they little alien atmospheric maintenance spheres? If I pop them will spores infect the entire neighbourhood and turn us intowalking alien fungus farms?

They've appeared for your (and our) photographic enjoyment. Let's be thankful.

Nope - can't be from airplanes - they spray that red stuff. The closest fire is a LONG way away - at least 100 miles. Last year the came a lot closer. This bubble thing is just a coinkydink it think. Wierd though. They're made of some kind of pitch or resin and they don't evaporate.
And there are no aliens inside. I checked.

well i know that if you put a teaspoon of glycerine in dawn dis detergent and watter the bubbles have less tendency to pop and also you can make huge bubbles that way, a friend of mine used to do those huge 6ft bubbles at undergound in atlanta and he told me the glycerine secret. Someone was probably making bubbles somewhere within a block of where you are and the wind carried a few to you...

He could even enclose people in bubbles, it was cool, specially if you were tripping...

                duuuuuuude!

heh...they make those bubbles that 'don't burst' now. they're alright, but they leave a 'web' on your clothes and have been known to stain fabric.

geez, key. don't scare me like that. jerk.

eat a bubble. see what happens.
