  • Throw away the radar detectors!

Cripes, today was the 3rd time I've had to pull off into the median strip cuz some numbnut got a blip on his radar detector and damn near caused a pileup in the fast lane on 128 (Dro and a few others of you know what that road's like). It was a friggin solar construction sign!

Really, how many times does that little gizmo save your ass and how many times is it just plain going off for no reason other than sunspots??? Hmmm??? Take a chance. Live a little. If yer gonna speed, make it feel like yer getting away with something.

I like radar detectors. I want the one that scrambles the policeman's radar gun though.

THose are illegal (scrambler) for regular radar that is, but there is no law that says you can't screw up the laser radar guns!

PS: I want a scramble to, unforunately it would be expensive and would have to work with all the rada bands that Police use. (X, K, Ka and a couole others)

(note to self.. byu new kyeborad, this one reverses my lettres when tpying).

Really? I'm talking about the one that sends a really high speed and a really low speed at the same time and screws up their gun.

Honestly, I wouldn't do it at all. Beveled, 3-D typography is sort of, well, yucky.

Anyway, yes, it's possible in Illustrator, but would require complicated and difficult blends. There...

Heaven forbid Adobe Bevel and Extrude give you a classic Roman profile for a letter form.
Unless there is a plugin out there that gives additional profiles, getting that effect is going to require...

Reply to Alternative to offset for metallic printing ?
We have a digital printer (fuji xerox Color 1000i) that prints silver and gold metallic toner. It's a lot cheaper than offset, especially for small runs and even one offs.
