  • I got a CAR!!!!!!!!

    Finally! It's an '89 Pontiac Sunbird. I went and looked it over. I will be picking it up tomorrow.

    If I had a digital cam I'd post picks, but I don't, so here is the next best thing. Looks like this, except it's white. And it has American Racing rims on it.

    congrats Ryan... you will always remember your first car. mine was an 84 Buick Skyhawk. Thing couldn't and wouldn't die.

        Already been working for insurance. I'll have $50 of free gas coming soon. Plus I'm going to be driving my sister to school every day and I'm gonna make her help with gas money.

                  Joe you got an 84 as your first car. I had a buick regal 84 but that was in 97.

                        Mine was a 85 Jeep Cherokee..... in 1996

                        get this my dad is making MY little brother drive it now...in 2004 its 19 years old and has had 3 engines and 4 cheap paint jobs

                        one summer I had to cut the rust out and fiberglass parts of the floorboard and once the door fell off when my sister opened it

                        this car has been used by all of my 3 sisters and now my little brother.... it starting in 1993 all the way until 2004

                        my dad said he doesnt car how much it costs to keep running because he is a 'fair dad' how funny is that??

                          My first car was an '85 Escort...bought in '91...LOL! Had no power steering, vinyl seats and NO AC...IN SOUTH GEORGIA!! But it was mine and I loved it....LOL! Swore I would never ever drive another Escort tho and in 99 I bought a 99 Escort! haha! Which I GLADLY traded in last summer when I bought my RAV4 bc thats what I wanted when I bought the Escort, just couldn't afford it. Ooops..now you know my car history...sorry [img]/emoticons/oops.gif[/img]

                            Good stuff Ryan. Cars are great, except when you have to dump money into them. Don't forget to check your oil, tranny fluid and power steering fluid regularily.

                            My first car was an 81 Grand LeMans. Hehehehehe....

                                There are other things to be considered with barcodes. I deal with them on a daily basis. Line width, quiet zones, and other factors play a big part in whether or not the code will scan.
