Comment on Critique for my own logo.
Print, your feedback has been awesome. It was definitely messy. Anyway I'm not sure I'm done messing with it but I'm going to upload an update that incorporates suggestions from you and Craig.

  • What does your avatar mean?

Just an inquiry. My avatar is from my graphic design logo, which is a portrait of my great, great grandad, Franklin Hiram King. (Click for info on him). What do your avatars mean?

Grandaddy King just had his book, Farmers of Forty Centuries, reprinted. Woo-hoo! Oh, wait... no royalties for me. Boo. He advocated fertilizing your garden with people poo, which is kinda gross.

Good question... getting into people's heads to understand how they choose to identify themselves. Wonder what this says about me!

Well, I've always loved the little zoloft guy cause he's so cute, and whenever the commercials came on and they were describing the symptoms of depression I would say 'that's me!!!' (joking or not!) so for now, he'll do.

I've been toying with the idea of using a winged cat (with dragon wings, not bird wings) but that will involve me taking the time to sit down and actually work on it, so expect something around 2010.

Mine is a portion of my new business card/identity I'm working up. It kinda describes me and shows a bit of my illustration work. It's got my TMoore signature and with my passion for cars...what else would I have put on it.

Today I begin to understand what love must be, if it exists.... When we are parted, we each feel the lack of the other half of ourselves. We are incomplete like a book in two volumes of which the first has been lost. That is what I imagine love to be: incompleteness in absence.

Mine goes back to the dark ages, it resembles a time when none was infinite... Ah hell I don't even have an avatar!

Graphic Design Heroes! Call me Captain Type Caster. I’ve fought off “The Evil Cosmic Sans” for year but it seems “Dr. Extreme Untalent” keeps bringing him back. I must find a way to defeat this evil creature.

I get bored with my avatar often so it's constantly changing. I was feeling a bit worn out and beaten-up that day, hence the tread marks.
