          HAPPY BDAY!!! I go up for road trips occasionally.. Its fun!! Just watch out for the pot holes if u end up driving anywhere.

            oooooooh you are gonna have an absolute blast!!! My favorite city. One day soon I WILL live there....if you can, make sure you go see a Broadway show...and definitely hit up the Guggenheim, and Madam Tusseaus Wax museum. Central park is amazing......times square is my favorite...and 5th avenue (but that b/c its cures my retail therapy..) have a great time!! Where are you staying???

            Today I begin to understand what love must be, if it exists.... When we are parted, we each feel the lack of the other half of ourselves. We are incomplete like a book in two volumes of which the first has been lost. That is what I imagine love to be: incompleteness in absence.

              Have a great time Delete. I'm out in Long Island about 40 minutes driving really fast. lol!

              Where are you staying at? Watch out for the crazy ass thugs. Also if you want to hit up a hip-hop club go to exit on 57th or was it 56th.

                  I'm staying in the meatpacking district? Thought I have no idea what that means. Since I'm only going for the weekend I'm not going to try to and hit all of the landmarks I know I should see. I'm planning a longer trip in the Spring, this is just kind of a birthday getaway since Jet Blue is so cheap right now.

                  I know for sure i'm going to see a panel of speakers as part of the New Yorker Festival that's going on. It's all about political rockers. Henry Rollins, KRS one, and Krist Novaselic are among the speakers. I also want to go to Central Park, Times Square (at night), and the Village. Other things on my 'must-do' list are: eat a NY slice of pizza, eat a NY hot dog and eat a NY bagel. I love food.

                    Eat Pizza in Soho or the Village cause they have some great pizza down town. I can't name any off the bat but they have like 3 pizza joint in every corner. If your going to tour the Empire State Building do it before 7 PM cause it just gets ridiculous after that.

                    Timesquare is great cause you can run down there at 12 am, 1am, 2am and you would never know it's that late well unless you want to go in 'the zone' which closes early what a bunch of loosers. Anyway enjoy man.

                        eat a NY pretzel too!!!!! Madam Tusseauds is in times square. its cheap....and its really a fun place to see.... right in the theater district.....oh..there a denny's ( i think...could be a ihop or something) on the corner in times square too...he he GREAT food for midnight snacking after a show...

                        mmm little italy has this GREAT restaurant called Vincents...ah...so good for some italian food.....

                              I just found out that I will be staying in Gramercy Park, which from mapquest, appears to be just northeast of Greenwich Village.

                              WOOOHOOO!!!!!!!! I can't wait!
