    I have no idea what it is, exactly, seeing as how I was raised Jewish. But I know I get off work tomorrow because of it, so cheers! [img]/emoticons/cheers.gif[/img]

    Hey NO FAIR! I'm Catholic and I don't even get the day from work off! hahaha! Allthough if I said that I needed it off he would prolly give it to me bc he's cool like that! I only gotta work till 2pm tomorrow anyways..YAY!

      All I know is the Roman Auxilliary army that was stationed in Israel at the time tossed some jimmy up on a cross (like they did many times before), and now it's a holiday! 3 cheers for the Roman Army!

        Up here in Canada, well ontario anyways it's a recognized holiday, so everyone get's the day off!! whoooohooooo.

                Please don't take Mag too horribly seriously in this.
                He's a Roman re-enactor.
                I was only laughing at his reply, knowing he would get a response.
                Yes it may be a little disrespectful but no more so than some Christians response to my 'beliefs' or maybe lack thereof.
                They used to burn us at the stake.
                Let's just drop it. K?

                    Since alotta ppl are off work today...I guess that means the board will be fairly slow today? I mean...guys...what am I suppose to do until 2pm when I get to leave....work??? No way ;o) JFK

                        Yea magnus you have to choose what you say a little more carefully. Because I defiantly have a strong history of Christian beliefs and if you knock what someone believes in like a joke people will get offended. You don’t have to agree with others beliefs but you should respect them.

                        Now we all know historically Jesus didn't die on a Friday and rise on a Sunday that is mathematically impossible. They just choose to celebrate it this day and I for one am grateful for everything Jesus endured for me.

                        As a historical fact most people should at least respect this man for his courage. The Passion of Christ the movie displays very accurately what happen to Jesus. And if that doesn’t move you an 18-wheeler ramming into you at full speed won’t budge you either.

                        So out of respect I bow my head and give thanks for the great sacrifice that was made for me.

                              oh boy...can o' worms.
                              Is it me, or does it seem like followers of christian beliefs get very upset when someone says anything that could be taken as irreverant (I know I did when I used to be a christian), which is fine...after all, they believe that this man died for them. But on the other hand, most christians are just as quick to tell someone of a different faith (or no faith at all) how wrong they are and what they should be doing to make it 'right'. Just an observation, and I don't mean to ruffle anyones feathers.

                                While I prefer landscape, I prefer left handed binding. I find turning upwards cumbersome.
