Reply to Canon T3i or an original Canon 5D?

I just snagged a T3i ...jumping up from Canon's point 'n' shoots so it shouldn't be a problem. It goes into service next week for a client's product shots (sporting goods) and for my own pet project of...

In the first link, the very first logo is B&W. I think the one with your initials are stronger, but definitely needs some work and tightening up.

What does your logo say about you?...

  • Pie vs. Cake

Heh heh... "The Decider" is taking up the topic of Pie Vs. Cake this week!

We need to point out a few ground rules this week so voters know which desserts lie where. First, brownies are cake; that’s simple enough. Second, ice cream cake is basically ice cream. Third, and most important, cheesecake is pie. I know it has the word “cake” in its name, but it has a crust that is made separate from the filling, and the filling does not rise. So in Life Sherpa World, cheesecake is pie. Keep that in mind when voting.
You can vote and leave a response. (Full disclosure: Life Sherpa aka The Decider is a friend of mine.)

    Vote HERE!

I'm feeling rather belligerently passionate about pie at the moment. All you cake lovers out there beware. I just might take you down! *argh!*

Although I disagree with the cake and pie descriptions I voted for cake.

                        Brownies are brownies.

I actually prefer fruit as a fruit over shoved into a pie.

I agree with drawingguy. Let brownies be their own thing.

Sure there are brownies that are more cake-like. You know the ones I'm talking about... It's almost always at some kind of potluck dinner. You see them and you're like "Alright!!! Brownies!!!" but when you pick one up you notice a disappointing lack of that satisfying and reassuring brownie density. Then you take a bite and you know you've been had. No ooey-gooey chocolatey goodness. No flavor explosion. Just a weak-ass cakey attempt at a brownie.

Way to go cake. Nice job ruining brownie's good name. You know there are probably people out there right now that think they don't like brownies or think brownies are just "OK" because their first experience was some scheming piece of cake trying pass itself off as a brownie. People that make these false brownies might as well be taking ancient, flatulent basset hounds and introducing them to children as puppies.

LOL i agree yoss. when i make brownies they don't rise and and are heavy as a brick, i like mine to be fudgey. i already cast my vote though so it is what it is.

pie is a much more versatile for food vessel. cake only has one purpose, being sweet. pie on the other hand can be sweet or savory. when it comes down to it i think i'd have to go with pie just for its versatility you could have pie for every meal but i don't think having cake for every meal would be as nutritious.
