The wife and I ahve been debating some of those solar lights. I may have to suggest this one to her. These look cool. Of course, I would worry about someone stealing them.

That looks like fun to make too...I think I'll try to make one...if I have time, I mean.

I have a store bought solar lamp, and it's really neat. But it came off of a bigger piece that cost $15, meant for a garden. The rest of it broke when the maintenance guys were rebuilding part of my apartment building, but I saved the shere with the solar light, and now it sits on the window sill (inside) and glows so nicely at night. But it looks so lonely. Some homemade friends would be great for it! Lol.

I'm thinking Christmas gifts for my sisters, sister-in-law, mom & stepmother. Six for each, two in each of 3 colors, X 5 sets, that's 30 of them. 36 if I make a set for myself.

Maybe I'll just do 4 each...

I was thinking one of each color

I'm not that ambitious. I have 10 adults to gift to

this would be interesting to build with Orangina bottles....but I don't know if the bottle would be the right size to accommodate a solar cell

Yeah, if I do 4 each, I'd do 4 different colors. Probably reddish, yellowish, greenish, blue-purpleish. Like a mini-rainbow.
