    For those of you unaware, Movember begins today!

    Grow your Mo for to raise awareness for prostate cancer.
    I'm also doing it for my best friends birthday, he didn't say he wanted anything, just for all of us to do that with him lol.

    Let's see how long I'll last.

    I'm in! Already started, least year I did a Brovember. It's a full on beard instead, I think I'll do a Full on Honking Long Fu Manchu this year!!!

      I couldn't grow a mustache anymore than I could jump to the moon. Facial hair just makes my face look dirty.

          I always called it Growvember. I'll give it a go, but I'm going for the beard and not the 'stash. I'll trim it later for a mustache, though

            I always end up with a brillo pad. And quickly.

            Maybe they should come up with a 'southern' option. Go-vember, as in shave a little, every day.

            Might have more participants. (And ladies too!)

                  With facial hair, I think most guys just don't wait long enough before deciding they can't grow anything worth a damn. Sure there are the odd few that, just for sport, will grow and harvest 2 or 3 full beards every single day. For the rest of us it takes a couple months to see how everything will fill in. For your standard 'stache that means waiting for the hairs along the top edge to grow all the way down to the upper lip.

                          The only kind of moustache I can grow that doesn't look utterly silly is the sort of narrow, square toothbrush type once sported by Englishmen and Germans. It has unfortunate associations with one German fellow in particular that keeps me from trying to pull it off.

                          Maybe I'll grow my beard out again this winter. I always get people saying it looks good on me, which I'm not sure how to take. "Hey, you look good with that thing that covers half your face."

                            Well, I am trying to grow my goatee back but the mustache portion doesn't look right...and my left sideburn has a missing patch of about an inch square. so a beard looks awkward.
