Hey all, new here. Sorry if this should've been posted somewhere else
I'm a self taught photographer and graphic designer in need of a new monitor. I've been using my laptop's monitor for far too long, and with the new year and all, decided to get a bit more serious (that and Photoshop and 15" screens were never made for each other).
I have a few basic requirements:
IPS is a must.
Full HD native resolution or higher.
No bigger than 23-24" (desk/budget won't allow).
NOT glossy or aggressive anti-glare, glossy is always annoying and I've read that the aggressive anti-glare makes whites look grainy.
Stand that can swivel between horizontal and vertical would be lovely, since I do work in both portrait and landscape.
Good colour gamut - I want this monitor to last for a while, if you know what I mean.
Good contrast ratio - ditto.
Anything else is fairly flexible. I don't do much gaming, and not much video watching either.
A card reader would be nice, but not a deal breaker.
USB ports not important, I already have an external hub.
HDMI port would be nice, but once again no deal breaker.
I would prefer not to have inbuilt speakers.
Power consumption doesn't really bother me, unless it doubles the power bill
Really I just need advice and personal experience on monitors fitting this range. I've been looking at the Dell Ultrasharps, and Ausus ProArt models, and now also HP. But it's just so confusing
Thanks in advance

I meant they hadn't reviewed many monitors in my price range.
