  • public service announcement topics?

i have to create some ads in school that are PSA's. im having a little trouble coming up with some ideas, can anyone help me out?

Sure! Start by searching the web for "public service announcement" and "psa" and note the topics. Make a list, then choose your top three favorites.

From there you can think about the message, list out some bullet points for each one, and make a list of possible imagery for each topic.

Post your results here and we'll discuss them with you.

      Here's my full list:

      Suicide Prevention
      Obesity [Childhood]
      Eating Disorders
      Being a good Room-mate
      Steroid Use
      The power of music

I think I'll narrow it down to suicide, being a good room-mate, and Obesity. Hmmm, so now I guess I have to come up with some catchy headlines that are provocative, funny, or informational or something. This is the tough part. It has to be something where I can use my own photography. I have to draw up 6 different sketches for each of the 3 topics.

Yes, I suggest choosing topics that matter to you. Once you do you could post some stuff in the Crit Pit if you'd like critiques before taking them in to class. Good luck!

Don't forget a call to action. You want people to DO something after you've persuaded them.

The color balance is off on the two right side characters in the Hannibal poster. It looks like you tried darkening the images with a curves adjustment which introduced a lot of noise and turned them...

Four-color process will give you a richer-looking print than the flat and sometimes lifeless look of a B&W halftone. As pointed out, though, even the slightest variation in ink densities will noticeably...

This is nice but If it's background will be white then it's looks more attractive I think.

              Hi!

I like the second image -- but I'd get rid of her ear, it's not necessary and kind of distracting. And I'd pull the green overlay all the way up, her hairline at the top also draws the...
