  • i worked security at a club for awhile while going to school. melissa etheridge played the club and we were told to confiscate any cameras we saw. it was told to people as they came in along with signs in the main hallway. sure enough i took 2 disposable cameras. the one lady came over to me crying at the end of the night saying that her wedding photos were on the camera (on a disposable?) and i ended up giving it back. but only after she slipped me a couple bucks

This is my pen tool. There are many like it, but this one is MINE. My pen tool is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My pen tool without me is useless. Without my pen tool, I am useless.

    • Danzig was pointing people out from the stage.

Most of the concerts I've been too have a No Photograph policy somewhere on them in the small type, but that's the only time I've seen it enforced. I've seen Maynard (Keenan, not my dog) ask people not to take flash photos a couple of times.

      • I can't remember who it was that we went and saw, but one about half way through the bands show, they stopped to talk to the crowd for a few minutes, and asked everyone to put away all their cameras and cell phones for the next 2 or 3 songs, so that everybody in the crowd that night was experiencing the music all together, for a few minutes at least. It was interesting to see how long it would last. Sure enough, 2 songs played before you started seeing the cameras start popping up again...

Yeah, I've had some mighty fine cloudy cider while over in the UK.
