Well, made an offer on a house, and it was accepted by the owners. It's a short sale, and in super good shape. Now for the indeterminable wait for their bank to approve.

Thanks all. The last offer walked after 40 days, so maybe the bank will have learned something (I crack myself up). The backyard is not huge, but good enough, and the potential for privacy is there with some proper planting. 4 bd/2.5 ba, 3 car garage (perfect for restoring my MGB), room for gatherings and guests!

It'll take as long as it takes. Housing prices are going up again out here, so the price is locked, and we should get a mortgage that's lower than our damned apartment rent.Comment
